BS5410 requires oil supply lines to be protected in this way. When the capillary sensor at the appliance detects excessive heat, the valve at the point where the line enters the building closes tightly, and stays closed until it is manually reset.

Key Features

Closes automatically in a fire

Must be manually reset after tripping

66°C or 90°C cut-off

Capillary lengths from 1.5m to 15m

Brass body, 3/8" female inlet and outlet

Fits horizontally or vertically

For class C2 and D fuels to BS2869

BSRIA approved to OFS E101:1998

Specifications

Connection: 3/8" BSP Female

Cut-off: 66°C or 90°C

Flow: 395 L/hr at 2m head

Body: Brass

Approval: BSRIA OFS E101:1998

Suitable For: Kerosene, gas oil (C2, D)

Please Note

Choose a capillary long enough to reach from the valve to the appliance without strain.
