About Generator Feed Tanks
Generator feed tanks store diesel and supply it directly to a standby or prime power generator, so it can keep running for longer without manual refuelling. They're used for data centres, hospitals, farms, construction sites and anywhere a power cut can't be allowed to stop work.
Our range comes from Atlantis – steel bunded tanks from 1,000 to 10,000 litres, built to be connected to a generator's fuel system.
Sizing a generator feed tank
Work out your generator's fuel use per hour at the load you expect, then multiply by the number of hours you need it to run before refuelling. Add some headroom, as tanks shouldn't be run completely empty.
For hoses with quick release couplings, see our hoses and filters. Need help sizing a tank? Call us on 01308 593164 with your generator details.
