About Contents Gauges
A contents gauge tells you how much oil or fuel is left in your tank without having to dip it, so you can order in good time and avoid running out on a cold night.
Types of gauge
- Clock and float gauges – simple mechanical gauges that sit on top of the tank, with no power needed.
- Ultrasonic gauges – the Apollo range measures the oil level with a sensor in the tank and shows it on a display indoors.
- Smart gauges – the Harlequin Smart Gauge and Apollo Smart send readings to an app on your phone, so you can check your oil level from anywhere.
