Remote Acting Oil Fire Valve - 66°C or 90°C

A remote acting fire valve shuts off the oil supply to a boiler or appliance if a fire breaks out, so the storage tank cannot feed it. BS5410 requires oil supply lines to be protected in this way. When the capillary sensor at the appliance detects excessive heat, the valve at the point where the line enters the building closes tightly, and stays closed until it is manually reset.

Choose a capillary long enough to reach from the valve to the appliance without strain. Should be fitted by an OFTEC-registered or competent engineer.
